With the Zhiyun Crane just arriving in our local shops we couldn't wait to get shooting with it. This beautiful Ceres Valley based wedding in the Western Cape of South Africa was the perfect test run with our new crane. We just bought the Zhiyun crane 2 the morning of the wedding and had 20min time to try and figure out how it works. I still need a little practice but I think for a first time user it went very well. The film was shot on the following gear:My Main Camera: http://amzn.to/2Fz0urlSecond Favorite Camera: http://amzn.to/2HOTlnvMy Favorite Lens: http://amzn.to/2CLFsThMy Second Favorite Lens: http://amzn.to/2EX1YyIBest Lens For Speeches: http://amzn.to/2FBhPA3My Favorite Drone: http://amzn.to/2FE2wqlMy Gimbal and most prized accessories: http://amzn.to/2BTWMc3With regards to filming with the Fujifilm X-t2 and Xt20 there are some issues that make Fujifilm a little behind when it comes to pushing the filmaking capabilities of their cameras. First of all using the Fujfilm Xt2 with the battery grip you have 3 batteries to use for shooting. However should one of your batteries die and switch to a new battery midway through a scene the camera stops recording and you need to manually start recording again. Possibly missing 2 secs of footage in between. I really hope to see Fujifilm fix this with a firmware upgrade soon. The second problem I found, and not sure if I am just missing a setting, but the Fujifilm Xt2 has duel slots for Sd cards. However the camera doesn't switch over to card nr 2 when card one fills up. You have to tell it manually to either now use card 2 or swop the 2 cards around. What I do love about the fujifilm systems are the amazing Film Simulations filters that are available in video mode. I prefer shooting on Classic Chrome for the tones seen in this video. However the filters are amazing and something for everyone. As far as I know the fujifilm system also doesn't have a flat profile to shoot on, so for the video guys looking to colour grade a whole lot the Fujifilm system might not be for you.Fujfilm offer amazing low light light and high ISO shooting. I regularly shoot at ISO6400 to 8000 with very fine noise. Its obviously not the Sony systems but Sony is in a complete different price class as one Sony A7s II costs about the same as 2 x Fujifilm Xt2's.The Fuji range lenses are also amazing with perfect sharpness and fast focus. Fujifilm is still to release video lenses, however the 50 - 140mm has fast focus and beautiful color. One of my favorite lenses and what I used mostly on this film was the 35mm 1.4 The lens is a little slow to focus but gives great depth of field and amazing sharpness. Its also very small and light and using it on the Zhiyun Crane 2 with the Xt2 it was a breeze. For anyone ever using a handheld crane for more than 30 minutes will know the lighter your gear can be the better. My Main Camera: http://amzn.to/2Fz0urlSecond Favorite Camera: http://amzn.to/2HOTlnvMy Favorite Lens: http://amzn.to/2CLFsThMy Second Favorite Lens: http://amzn.to/2EX1YyIBest Lens For Speeches: http://amzn.to/2FBhPA3My Favorite Drone: http://amzn.to/2FE2wqlMy Gimbal and most prized accessories: http://amzn.to/2BTWMc3
