Getting the lens ring off the LX7, to add an automatic lens cap or a filter adapter can be hard. This shows what comes off and one method of doing it. For some, a rubberized "jar opener" cloth or rubber gloves might help grip the thin ring. (Don't twist the aperture ring, just the thin ring on the end that looks like it doesn't come off, but does).
